Boston's North End - Bus

Join us on Saturday, October 14, 2017 for a bus trip to Boston's North End. The North End of one of Boston's most culturally exciting neighborhoods and it is often referred to as "Little Italy". The community is known for its historical richness, fine dining, quaint cafes, gelato, and interesting people. A visit wouldn't be complete without seeing some important American sites as well, such as Paul Revere's house, the Old North Church, and Copp's Burying Ground - whose earliest grave marker dates back to 1661.

We'll leave the Eastfield Mall Commuter Parking Lot (in front of Sears) at 10:00 am and arrive in Boston around noon. Once we arrive in Boston, you will be on your own to choose when and where to have lunch, shop, and sightsee. For those who wish to learn about the history of the North End, Dr. James Pasto, a professor at Boston University, has generously offered to lead us on a free walking tour. He will join us at a designated place, show us around the area, and then bring us back to the starting point. The walking tour will begin at 2:00 pm and last about an hour.

We meet the bus for our return to Eastfield Mall at 5:00 pm. The cost of the trip is $45.00 per person. Space is limited and seats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations must be made in advance by calling Stephanie at 860-305-1175 or emailing to
